I was overly committed to getting to the throne for a Jamuary sign in today. I made it. It was obtuse and rather difficult. Was it a ride? Only history will accurateyl judge our actions today. I felt proud, defiant, committed - and a little stupid - pushing the 38 pound snow-beast the majority of the way to the sign in. Be that as it may, I was there - today. that counts for something. Parts of the descent may have been some of th best turns I will get in this year in virgin powder. The outlook is grim for a real snow sliding season, so I say - thank god for the Phat bike.
Spock has apprently survived the diabolical trap set by Alfredo - the Caped Wrestler. Spock has been in harms way for something like 2 months, and looks resolute and strong. Will he last the winter? Check back to find out. Fredo took a dive and was barely surviving in a snowdrift. I place him back atop the Spock death rock - don't worry - all is stable in the woods.
And in the 'holy shit puppies are really cute' category - we have 9 next door and they are getting bigger and they are just a pile of puppy stink and love. They are going for about 600 American dollars per pup - covers shots and all that - if you want one...holla. Back into the thick of it tomorrow....wish me luck.
Will Spock survive? Will the Wrestler end up in Kansas? Glad to hear that all is right in the woods, except for the snow level.
