Ya never know what you are going to see. People - probably not. It was 4 degrees this morning and it peaked at 11 when I went out about 11. Squeaky snow, amazing animal tracks and it's one thing to THINK you are out there with the animals and no people. It is yet another thing to KNOW you are the only person out there. Crazy tracks all over the place. My fav was this cat that crossed my tracks between lap 1 and lap 2 on the Tolle Rode. The amazing thing was the moose tracks. They are digging it up in there like nobody's business. I have seen the mom and the kid once. Today I smelled them, and heard them, but never saw them. Their impact in the woods is amazing. It looks like a buuldozer has been through when they rock on by.
LAST work trip of the year tomorrow. A casual 30 hours in Austin. Found the yoga studio we will be relying on, found a great dinner and place to stay. Packing the mandolin as it has been singing to me lately. All in all, things look pretty outstanding as soon as my sinus hairs un-freeze, I should be good to go.
