It all really does run together. Rolling deep w/Flinder yesterday, on a weekday nonehtless. Covered some of the trails that were the first I rode 22 years ago, and some that I discovered as recently as last year. Solid ride. Ignoring my 3 on, one off due to the incoming weather - that appears to be downgrading by the minute. Then, digging out the pad for the chicken coop (yes, come get your fresh eggs and meat birds) found the panniers that held quite literally everything I owned during the summer of 1984, when I flew to Portland, Oregon, unpacked my bike and rode back to Boston. So, there is some connective tissue that is a bicycle. I'd agree with Lanca and say it's not about the bike. It's about everything. But it sure is noce to have the view from the saddle to watch all this wonder roll by.
