The wind over the last 48 hours is making even the most hardy mountain souls flee. Solid 100mph winds last nite. Trees down, dirt in the snow, snow in the dirt. Snowboarding yesterday was complete braille. No depth or visibility whatsoever. Today, we dropped Q at Ski Trek, barrelled down the canyon and kncoked off the double yak route with an extra climb up S-Loaf and back down link just 'cuz we could. Going fast on dry dirt was quite lovely. Suffering on a few thousand feet of climbing was as lovely, if not lovelier. Bring in Spring. We got a long way to go...but the next 2 days look lovely, and then southern california for 5 days for some groundbreaking work, waves, love, and life. My legs will be cooked by then, and I will be limping around the show floor with a mad grin.
