A moody and viscous maiden these hills are. Just a few days away.....and even time at the beach. 4 good surfs, 2 with my nephew who has the bug big time. Valet'd my board for the first time; put a surfboard in a town car for the first time; did a speech to about 250 very smart people...intimidating one - but fun. Back in the hood yesterday and today and it is just perfect. Something happens above 10k. Above where there are other people. Girl and I rode for 3 hours and saw no one. I don't even think we saw a track from another bike. The greenery is crested butte like. HUGE flowers and fields of blossoms and plants higher than I think I have ever seen here. We are going to shuttle some 'da kine' with the kids tomorrow nite as Quinn is shredding the downhills, still getting his stuff down on the climbs. Home for 10 days until the next trip to the airport. I plan to leverage every moment of it.
